My Summer Travels

Tofino at Wharf Street 8″X10″ Oil on Gesso Board

I was able to get away twice this summer and have just got back with paintings which I’ll start to post as I realize I’ve been away from here for the duration of my travels. I went first to Tofino and the Pacific Rim National Park located on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Here I was able to get some painting done and took hundreds of photos so I hope to start doing 50 small pieces for my Daily Paintworks Gallery. I didn’t get very far along on the start of these when I then caught a flight to Ottawa, very different but beautiful landscapes.

Having just started my new website before I left on my road trip to Tofino BC I haven’t had a chance to announce it properly. The painting above is linked to the page of Plein Air paintings I have just uploaded on my new website. I hope you enjoy what you see there.
