This was a piece I did last month, again I was painting with the intent to capture the different textures.
Another piece I did last month trying here to show the turn of the stoneware crock against the flatness of the granite base. The challenge also in painting white reflective surfaces and capturing the translucency of the grapes.

I had thought I’d posted this pear study but it appears I hadn’t and yesterday I reworked it. I picked this pear to paint because it looked that it had been monogrammed just for me.
